Family Values Luncheon 9/11/06

Sister Merrill, me and Dame Gillian Pugh OBE

As part of my role on the London Key Committee, I had to organise a Family Values Luncheon at The Lanesborough Hotel (POSH!!!) to award Dame Gillian Pugh OBE for her remarkable efforts in supporting families through her charity and government work. It was a great success, met lots of influential charity leaders, and particularly loved the food!
Gillian was delighted with her award!

This is Gillian being being presented with the award by our

Area President, President Kenneth Johnson.

Jen and Sam's new home

We went and visited Jen and Sam's new 2 bedroom flat. Lots of potential, space and in a perfect location! They'll need lots of help with the decorating!

Stilt Walking!

A new skill I learnt at Enrichment was stilt walking...very hard! Looks a lot easier than it is!

Louise and Jenny visit the Cottrells in Bouremouth

Aunty Loulie and Aunty Jenny drove down to visit poorly Katie in hospital. Alan made them do lots of jobs in the garden including picking up all the cat poo - YUCK! Amber and Leah were as lively as ever and we enjoyed their hugs and kisses! Get better Katie! xx

Day out in London!

Last week Hayley and Natalie bravely ventured down to London to visit their aunties!! They explored Covent Garden and came across a Roman soldier who wasn't so pleased to see them! Highlights of the day included eating doughnuts, opera at Harrods and quizzing aunty Loulie about finding 'Mr Right'. Jenny and Lou loved having them visit. Come and visit again soon! xx

What do you think of the new look to the blog? (Question by Alan)
